It is now more than 65 years since Ledaal Teppeveveri began to weave carpets in Stavanger.
The company is now owned and run by Cathrine Hærem(third generation) and her husband Steffen Wesnes, and delivers carpets to Norwegian churches, architects, private homes and cabins.
The Ledaal workshop and showroom is located in Rosenkrantz gate 45 at Våland near the city centre.
In the basement are the looms which date from the 1880's as well as the unique yarn spinning machines which were developed in the 1950's. Upstairs is a delightful show room where you can see the carpets, ottomans and other products made by Ledaal.
The carpets are made from 100% Norwegian wool, spun around a core of jute and woven onto a linen warp. A Ledall carpet is sturdy and extremely hardwearing. As well as looking very attractive, will make a warm, comfortable and very practical addition to your home.
We have a huge range of coloured wools in stock, and you can either choose from the carpets that we have all ready made, or discuss your interior design plans. We can then weave you an entirely unique carpet to your specifications.
The unique Ledaal yarn spinning machines allow for very subtle blends of colours to be created and we will be able to offer expert advice and guidance regarding colour choice and design.
We can also organise delivery of carpets to your home or cabin.
